Mission Statement
As a dance educator and performing artist with over 30 years of professional experience, I find it
an amazing opportunity to now mentor and work with up and coming artists. The performing arts
are a critically important media for storytelling, activism and social awareness. Education in the
arts fosters creativity and develops the critical thinking skills to enrich our culture and support
our industries. Artistic expression inspires and uplifts the human spirit to make profound
contributions to people around the world.

Performing Arts programs or those who wish to enter the Performing Arts industry upon graduation.
Starbound Talent specializes in how to implement a Performing Arts resume, create professional
headshots for commercial, dramatic and dance requirement as well as private coaching for auditions on a
professional level.

Involved in contracting and production of major headliners for performance at the Salle des Etoiles in
Monte Carlo aka “The Sporting Club.” Worked with ABC television in assisting with the production of
the World Music Awards and running auditions for performing talent e.g. dancers and singers for
different variety acts on nights that headliners were not performing.

3. Biography
Irene Kent is a Suma Cum Laude graduate with a Master degree in Media and Communication
Psychology from Touro University as well as a cum laude graduate with a BA from the
Conservatory of Performing Arts (COPA) in Pittsburgh. With over 30 years of experience in
performing as well as teaching Irene has had a substantial cross platform career in the
performing industry. That consists of dancing with the “Pittsburgh Ballet,” “The American
Dance Ensemble” as well as the “Pittsburgh Symphony.” Irene has performed on Broadway and
in Film, Television and National Commercial as well as Live Industrial and Modeling work.
Some of her credits include the Broadway shows “West Side Story,” “A Chorus line,” and “Cole
Porters review.” Her Film and T.V. Credit include “The Hard Way,” “Saving Face,” “Stepford
Wives,” “Law and Order,” “The Street,” as well as national commercials such as “E-Trade,”
“AOL 9.0” with Carson Daly and “MCI” with John Stamos. Irene has performed in numerous
venues throughout the United States, the Far East, including China and Japan, and through out
central Europe. Irene currently teaches and coaches in New York City and is an adjunct
