19th November, (Monday)
This is the first day of the Erasmus + project. The Turkish team welcomed our
team and the Lithuanian team with great warmth and hospitality. Here began
our collaboration with the other three foreign countries: Turkey, Lithuania
and Italy.

ancient fortress with the same name.

9. Scratch / Coding lessons
20th November
Guided by Mr. Huseyin Yasar
Konak, we took part in the first
Scratch course in the Erasmus+
project. Even though, when you
say programming you think of
difficult things, Mr. Huseyin
made us learn simpler
programming through Scratch.
At first it was difficult to
understand the program, but
during the first course we
evolved considerably, we even
created our first animation.,
Since the first course, we also
have managed to develop our
ability to work in a team and our
vision of things has improved.
10. 21st November, (Wednesday)
09:30 Scratch / coding lessons, instructed by HYK.
Creating simple animations with coding.
Using basic tools in coding.
Rationalizing digital numbers
Coding to tell stories
(1st Session of the day)
14:00 All students were requested to bring their mobiles phones on which a free
scratching application was installed. Lessons were to be given on mobile phones
(2nd Session of the day) Instructed by: HYK
Dividing into groups of up to four (4) students from each country. Students were
asked to perform
What they have gained so far e.g.; arithmetic operations baring “Team working
essentials”, “interpersonal skills” and “cultural awareness skills” in mind.
16.00 Ending working hours
11. Scratch / Coding lessons(Day 2)
21st November Scratch- day two- the day our
teamwork skills were put to the
test by the teacher who taught us
the programmimg. Six teams
were formed, each team with
four students from the four
different countries. Our test
consisted in creating a game
following a model presented by
the teacher but developed by us
as we pleased. After the teams
collaborated and created the
games, our teacher went to every
computer and saved the games
on his stick in order to be
presented by the teams later on.
Each team has done excellent
work, making us feel confident
and happy.
12. Scratch / Coding lessons(Day 2)
21st November
Besides the Scratch programming we were learning, we were shown a type
of programming for robots through a program called Arduino. Thus, we saw
how a software can help us program robots easily.
13. 22nd November, (Thursday)
09:00 Meeting at the hotel reception, heading to Burdur MAKU University,
Department of Computer Education and Technologies for advanced
coding lessons.
10:00 Acquisition of advanced coding languages instructed by University
Lecturers
Advanced coding language demonstrations for students.
12:00 Visiting Sagalassos the Ancient City,

14. T.C. Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Universitesi
22nd November
In order to go to the
University of Mehmet Akif
Ersoy, the meeting at the
reception was scheduled at 9
am in the morning. There we
were going to better
ourselves in the field of
programming. The course was
kept in complete silence and
attention, all of the students
being eyes and ears at the
explanations of the two
programming teachers, who
taught us. With the help of
these university professors,
we have surpassed ourselves
and accumulated new
information that would surely
help us in the future.
15. Visiting ancient citadel Sagalassos
22nd November
After we left the university, we had a wonderful experience, that of visiting Sagalassos,
an ancient fortress located at 100km of Antalya and 30km de Burdur and Isparta.
During the Roman Empire, the city was known as the “First city of Psidia". There we
saw Heroon in the northwest sector, the Theatre, Nymphaeum, Upper Agora and
many others beautiful sites.
16. 23rd November, (Friday)
9:30 – Working session on the project: Evaluating the meeting in Turkey.
2nd Survey “assessing the students acquisition in terms of the lessons, they
have attended.
Assessing students’ engagement and learning.
3rd Survey” assessing the quality of the LTT meeting held in Turkey.
(Effectiveness, organizational etc.) Compiled results of all questionnaires are
to be converted into a single report by the host country and uploaded on the
web site.
11:00 Future steps of the project, Drawing conclusions and assessment of
the meeting, things to be done after the meeting, Project flow for the next
LTT meeting, milestone, etc by the coordinator country.
12:00 Distribution of the certificates.
17. Our last day in Burdur – Burdur Lake
23rd November
Lake Burdur is a large saline lake of tectonic origin, positioned at the frontier between
Burdur and Isparta provinces, in southwestern Turkey. Lake Burdur is also and
important wetland site for many bird species and is designated a Ramsar site.
18. Our last day in Burdur - Paintball
23rd November
VS
Friday. Our last day in Burdur couldn't have been more beautiful. This last
day ended at Paintball, where two teams were formed: The Red Team and
The Blue Team. During the five intense and competitive rounds that were
played, teamwork and communication played the most important part.
19. Our last day in Burdur – Paintball(2)
23rd November
Just like I said, everything went great. There were no quarrels or inconveniences, the
atmosphere was perfect. We all went well in the role of soldiers and we shot at each
other to the last ball left in the gun. In the end, I took a group picture that would
probably make us remember those moments many years from now.
20. Final impressions about our mobility in Turkey
23rd November
The whole journey was a constructive and impressive
experience. First of all, we have achieved our goal, that of
learning basic notions in programming with Scratch. Secondly,
we have learned to work in teams and to communicate as a
unit. We were a team even though we came from different
parts of the world.
