Company Profile
At Smart Resources, Inc. we understand the complications related to the
Human Resources field and how organizations either do not have the size
of a structure that requires an in-house human resources department or
that prefer to outsource such services in order to be cost-effective.
With this in mind we have created a menu of services which will provide
the support they need making their own combinations; ones that are
suitable for their particular needs.
We like to work together and closely with our customer to provide the
support which will suit their particular situations and that will help them
achieve their goals.

Our Organization
Our staff in composed of highly qualified associates which bring their
individual expertise in the different areas of Human Resources
such as compensation and benefits, employee relations, payroll,
etc. Our staff is committed to help you and your organization
achieve your goals and the success you want.
Our President
Ida Macaraig, MBA. President and General Manager. She holds a
bachelor Degree in Science and a Masters Degree in Human Resources
from the University of Phoenix. With 18 years of experience in the Human
Resources field, Ms. Macaraig has created and developed many human
resources departments, developed strategies, and managed human
resources issues in many different industries such as insurance, retail,
restaurants, health, pharmaceutical, security, financial, advertising among
others. She has also worked with Union’s campaigns from the employer’s
side and has been part of employer’s collective bargaining’s committee.
Among her previous experiences prior to creating Smart Resources, Inc.,
she worked at Eli Lilly’s Headquarters where she developed compensation
programs for subsidiaries around the world, including the continents of
Asia, Europe and South America; helped create a compensation guide
manual for the Company to be used internattionaly; worked with affiliate’s
downsizing; participated as part of the team that prepared the IPO, from a
Human Resources perspective, for a subsidiary’s spin-off (today Guidant);
participated in strategies development and implementations. Also has
training and experience in the sales and marketing areas.
Our Services
Consulting. Our company is available to support your organization in all
aspects related to Human Resources so that you can meet your
organization’s goals. We offer services such as creation and development

policies auditing, development of policies and procedures, human
resources reports, OSHA, SINOT and others.
Outsourcing. With today’s high costs and difficult economic situation,
outsourcing becomes a viable way of running the business without the
costs and overhead involved in having an entire in-house human

Recruiting. We provide the support needed to facilitate the recruiting
process by development the position’s description, posting positions in a
suitable source, pre-selection of candidates so that your organization can
be time –effective in the process, employment offers, reference

Labor Relations. Keeping a working place out of a union requires
specialized elements which need to be planned carefully. Our specialized
resources will help you in the resolution of conflicts, orientation on how to
avoid unions, etc., and will assist you in handling cases in the different

will assist in the everyday management of collective bargaining
