Introduction to Prospecting


Prospecting is a simple CRM package that allows
a customers to manage their sales activities
• Allows users to record details of potential customers
  alongside existing customers without the need to
  create a sales account.
• Create and manage campaigns
• Manage opportunities and delegate sales activity tasks
• Link to SOP in order to produce estimates
• Report on sales pipeline and record success

What is a prospect?
A ‘Prospect’ is a person or
company that you have not
yet done any business
with, and therefore have no
sales account or contract

Maintain Prospects can be used to
manage details of your Sales Leads

Managing Campaigns


‘Maintain Campaigns’ allows a user to set up and
manage sales initiatives. Both Prospects and
Clients can be added to a Campaign

•   Linking prospects to Campaigns
•   Adding memos
•   Adding an activities to a Campaign
•   Updating an activity
•   Creating a mailshot
Managing Opportunities


Sales interest from both from prospects and existing
customers can be recorded as an ‘Opportunity’

•   Adding an Opportunity
•   Opportunity Statuses

•   Document Management
•   Copying an Opportunity
•   Importing Opportunities
Managing Tasks within
an Opportunity

Tasks can be used within an Opportunity
to delegate and manage the sales activities

•   Adding a Task

•   Sales Persons diary
•   Bulk Reassignment of Tasks
Prospect Monitors


Monitors are used to give users visibility of sales
activities. They can display details of current
opportunities and the status of tasks

•   Viewing Prospect monitors
•   Opening an opportunity
•   Viewing Monitor Graphs
•   Selecting a Monitor Template
•   Creating a template for Tasks
    and Opportunities
SOP and Estimates


The Prospects module can be used in
conjunction with SOP to produce estimates

• Opening an Estimate From
  Prospecting
• Producing the Estimate
• Estimate Templates
• Creating Revisions
• Updating the Opportunity
SOP and Estimates


Once an Estimate has been accepted the Prospect
becomes a Client. Sales reports can also be produced

Introduction to Prospecting Prospecting is a simple CRM package that allows a customers to manage their sales activities • Allows users to record details of potential customers alongside existing customers without the need to create a sales account. • Create and manage campaigns • Manage opportunities and delegate sales activity tasks • Link to SOP in order to produce estimates • Report on sales pipeline and record success

  • 6. Managing Prospects and Existing Clients What is a prospect? A ‘Prospect’ is a person or company that you have not yet done any business with, and therefore have no sales account or contract
  • 7. Managing Prospects and Existing Clients Maintain Prospects can be used to manage details of your Sales Leads • Adding a Prospect • Searching for a Prospect • Editing a Prospect • Add a document to a Prospect • View a document a Prospect • Prospect contacts • Importing Prospects
  • 8. Managing Campaigns ‘Maintain Campaigns’ allows a user to set up and manage sales initiatives. Both Prospects and Clients can be added to a Campaign • Linking prospects to Campaigns • Adding memos • Adding an activities to a Campaign • Updating an activity • Creating a mailshot
  • 9. Managing Opportunities Sales interest from both from prospects and existing customers can be recorded as an ‘Opportunity’ • Adding an Opportunity • Opportunity Statuses • Opportunity Search • Document Management • Copying an Opportunity • Importing Opportunities

  • 11. Prospect Monitors Monitors are used to give users visibility of sales activities. They can display details of current opportunities and the status of tasks • Viewing Prospect monitors • Opening an opportunity • Viewing Monitor Graphs • Selecting a Monitor Template • Creating a template for Tasks and Opportunities
  • 12. SOP and Estimates The Prospects module can be used in conjunction with SOP to produce estimates • Opening an Estimate From Prospecting • Producing the Estimate • Estimate Templates • Creating Revisions • Updating the Opportunity
