direct-care workers all over
Europe, there is a current and,
possible, future shortage of
trained caregivers.
• Migrants are filling this labour
gap, providing essential care
services.
• The lack of adequate training
for elderly caregivers remains a
major gap in workforce

6. For each topic , will be created a
learning tool with information divided
in many sequences (PPTs or Videos) ,
organized in an attractive form with
links to additional resources, you tube
videos, animations and quizzes.
The learning tools will be adapted and
posted on the project learning
platform in the form of easy to
navigate course, available in all
partners’ languages.
This course will be also accessible
through the Mobile APP.
These created resources will used to
set up the online massive Open Online
course (MOOC).

Before piloting the MOOC, trainers from partners ‘
organizations will be trained on how to use the
MOOC and how to conduct learning and support
learning for participants.
8. 100 elderly care workers recruited and involved in the online course (MOOC.
50 of MOOC participants should be persons with fewer opportunities: refugees, people facing
health problems, cultural differences, social or geographical obstacles
10 experts and trainers from the partner organizations, will be involved in developing the
intellectual outputs;
16 trainers selected from the partners organizations and local partnership , will participate in
the joint training event and then, involved in conducting the learning on the MOOC;
26 trainers and experts from the partner organizations and local partnership involved in
conducting the learning on the MOOC evaluating the training modules;
120 participants in 5 National seminars : managers and leaders of units for elderly care,
representatives of the services for elders, local authorities, training providers, work placement
agencies, trainers and experts from elderly care organizations or health care training
providers.
150 people potential stakeholders ( local community, trainers, experts, elderly organizations,
work placement agencies, training providers ) will receive information on the regularly base -
e-mails (minimum 30/partner).
