 Eigenbau (April 2015- Current)
Eigenbau is a Civil and mechanical construction company which operates in South Africa and parts of
Africa, specializing in construction of Water and waste water treatment works including pump
stations, pipelines and other related infrastructure.
Employed as a Junior Engineer/Project manager for the costing of potential projects from clients,
costing and applying of tenders and variation orders from current projects. Design work were
required for costing, attending site meetings for tenders and liaising with companies and suppliers
for costing. Assisting in managing of current contracts, validating designs, pricing, suppliers and
overhead costs.
Required to consult with suppliers locally and internationally, collaboration with companies in joint
ventures, intra company communications, consult with clients and consulting engineers, report
writing and design of various mechanical components in all related projects.
 Cedara Blind Foundation International (December 2014 – March 2015)
Cedara Blind foundation is an educational institute which embarked on an expansion of their facilities.
Employed as a Project/contract manager for the expansion of their new facilities to the value of 100
million Rand.
Required to find suitable suppliers for building materials by getting different quotes and evaluating
supplier integrity. Engage and appoint suitable contractors for building services. Managing of
contractors in building. Validating designs, payment certificates, suppliers and managing site
employees.

2.  Maritzburg Engineering (6 Months)
Maritzburg engineering is a mechanical fabrication firm, that manufactures custom metal
components. It serves as a service company to firms such as Illovo, Hullamin, Hullets etc. Employed as
a Process engineer for the manufacturing line.
Required to ensure a smooth process from start to finish. Ensure quality and safety standards are met
throughout the process, to implement systems to improve process flow and productivity of the
manufacturing line.
