This document defines terrorism and outlines its causes and impacts. Terrorism is defined as the calculated use of unlawful violence or threats to instill fear in order to coerce governments or societies for political, religious, or ideological goals. Causes include political and social injustice, the belief that violence is effective, illiteracy, and religion. Impacts are economic losses, social atmosphere of fear, and complicated world politics. Solutions proposed include education, eliminating funding sources, understanding cultural differences, and promoting peace, freedom and equality. Antiterrorism pledges non-violence and opposing all forms of terrorism and violence to uphold peace and social harmony.
3. The term ‘terrorism’ originates from Latin word
‘terrere’ that means ‘to frighten’.
The US Department of Defence has defined Terrorism
as
“The calculated use of unlawful violence or the
threat of violence to inculcate fear; intended to
coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in
the pursuit of goals that are generally political,
religious, or ideological.”

ECONOMIC IMPACT : loss of life ,infrastructures,
and business. Government spending on security

fear and panic all around

systems.

Violence is a disease , you don’t cure a disease by spreading it to more people.
Hatred spread hatred only. It can be conquered by love only.
10. For creating awareness among people about the terrorism we celebrate
World Anti-Terrorism Day on 21st May every year.
On this day, the Anti-Terrorism and Anti-Violence pledge is taken by the
government officers and public.
