8. Difference between style and titles
Title sequences with hand drawn titles tend to
have more artistic based titles such as:
• Art Department
• Design and Animation
Due to the extra work that goes into creating the
titles and the sequence as a whole compared to
digital made titles.
9. Difference between time and titles
Due to a proliferation of technology, newer films
tend to have more titles to relate to the new
production techniques such as CGI and new
animation. These titles include:
• Special effects
• Visual effects
Older films wouldn’t include titles like this because
the technology wasn’t as advanced as they are now
and because technology is constantly changing, the
titles will change with them.
10. Production and funding
You can estimate a budget for the film rom the
titles.
Films like Guardians of the Galaxy with digital titles
would have a larger budget and therefore more
successful funding as they have special effects in
their film.
Films with hand drawn titles are more likely to have
a lower budget as they don’t need to spend a lot on
extra effects showing they would have less funding.
