1- Working as a Plant Management Admin Assistant with EMethanex Company at Damietta
Port from July 2008 Up till now .
[The Egyptian Methanex Methanol Company] is a joint venture operation of Methanex
Corporation, the global leader in methanol industry supply, distribution and marketing.
Methanex has many years of experience in operating methanol plants with the highest
reliability and safety records.
 My tasks as a Plant Management Admin Assistant are as follow:[
 Administration Support:
 Pro-actively relieve plant Management of administrative and business details.
 Attend business meetings with Plant Management to take MOM and follow up action plan.
 Maintain an organized system to manage the company Controlled Document.
 Maintain an organized filling system with important/confidential matters.
 Issuing Manufacturing (MFG) telephone list updated & distributed to Damietta Users and
Cairo Users.
 Issuing MFG organization Chart updated with departments by photos & positions.
 Issuance of expenses reports for Plant Management ensuring the content of all the back-up
receipts/invoices.
 Full control of Admin Building meeting rooms.
 Provide administrative support to the Executives visitors through preparing their rooms,
stationary supplies, printing, copying and e-mailing tasks, site tours arrangements, etc. and
recording comments when possible.
 As an admin Building coordinator to report problems in the building and follow up with the
administration.
 Following Housekeeping, adherence to quality hygiene standard of the work environment
and in well organizing at the admin building.
 Control Building related equipments like printers or software programs to computers for
maintenance or downloaded required via sending IT helpdesk tickets.
 Prepare & support Logistics for business meetings.
 Ordering & receiving stationary requirements for all EMethanex departments after following
up with their admin assistants.
 Publish the announcements of organizational changes or welcoming by email to Damietta
and Cairo Users.
 Release all the announcement of Management new polices and procedures to the technical
coordinator to be published on IC Meridian.
 Creating 100% free error Desktop requisitions & Work orders using MAXIMO System when
required.
 Mike Egypt Page Editing of Plant Management section in downloading all the SMT photos
with positions and adding all related documents.
 Full control of all fedex courier that are send in and out of EMethanex and also settle the
courier invoices with the finance in a monthly basis.

 Issuing the Weekly Manufacturing on Call and duty Personnel file on a weekly basis to EMX
Damietta Users to be aware of who is on call at the plant during weekends and in case of
emergency required.
 Maintain a proper control of all MFG expenses of travel in full compliance with the budget&
Codes of the Plant Management section
 Coordinate with the SMT who have corporate Credit Cards to ensure their reports are also
completed accurately and on-time and collect all approved Credit Card reports, Scanned
and e-mail to the CEO admin assistant and to the admin Assistance in Vancouver within
monthly deadline.
 Team-Work Activities
 Handling 100% of business lunch & dinners with the SMT, and Head Office management
with all related logistics.
 Participating in farewell parties arrangements and any social activities inside or outside the
plant.
 Arrange meetings with my colleagues of the admin assistants to discuss the process of
Stationary requisitions, travel assistance, hotel reservations, visitors meet & assist, issuing
business cards and medical claims.
 Lead the meeting with EMX admin assistants to review the inputs of the weekly bulletin of all
their departments before publishing.
 Participate as a member of the employee engagement survey committee to discuss the
employees inputs and to set the priorities of their inputs before sending to the Global.
 Participate with the EMG Team as a scribe to write down the MOM during the crisis time and
handle all the required administration tasks.
 Travel Assistance
 Assistance for inquiring and the process in getting visas for the plant manager and others
when required.
 Arrange with the selected Travel Agency all the air tickets reservations for the plant
manager and EMX visitors.
 Arrange for Hotel booking in Egypt and abroad when required for EMx visitors, assignees
and the plant manager as well.
 Handle 100% of the site visitors logistics including meet & assist service, hotel reservations,
transportation, Port permits issuance, Safety Induction, PPE,..etc
 Arrange for personnel relocation activities in Damietta and in Cairo when required.
 Coordinate Visitors transportation in Egypt when required to and from the site.
 100% logistics preparation for touristic tours to Alexandria and Cairo for our site visitors,
assignees and the plant manager during the weekends in contact with the travel Express
Company.
2- From March 2007 Up till July 2008 working with the Company UHDE GmbH part of
ThyssenKrupp in Damietta. The main contractor for Ammonia & Urea Fertilizer production
facility for MOPCo 1 project with production capacity 1200-ton Ammonia/day 2000-ton
Urea/day.
o In the Same Company Working as a Site Manager Secretary and also a Secretary for all the
other departments (Electrical-Erection-Instrumentation-Safety-Commissioning-Contracts-
QA/QC-Piping& Civil) doing the following tasks:
 Cover all activities for secretarial and administrative field.
 Send and receive all the faxes and all the correspondences to/from all other companies.
 Establish log for all the correspondences.(In & Out)
 Distribute the daily correspondences for all the departments.
 Handle all the calls and faxes going from and to the Site Manager.

 Establish system for all the documents in files and filling data on SAP system on computer that
helps in organizing and searching for all documents and letters.
 Document controller-Keeping records of all the in & out correspondence & doing follow up & tracking
for all the requests.
 Prepare Monthly Report for the progress report.
 Attend & issuing the meeting and sharing in the Translation.
 Doing hotel reservations.
 Acting as a facilitator and problem solving.
3- From March 2006 till February 2007 working as:
 An Instructor for Teaching English courses at (B.L.C.I.), British International Institute for English

In the Same Company Working with HSE Department as a secretary & Be Safe Data Base in
Damietta LNG Construction (DLC) doing the following tasks:
 Document controller-Keeping records of all the in & out correspondence & doing a follow up & a
tracking for all the requests.
 Feeding the system with all the events & the incidents in order to monitor the progress & to track
the actions required & evaluate the response rate.
 Working on the HATS as an action tracking system by feeding all the incoming data from the
subcontractors (investigations, incidents, near misses, accidents, Loss Prevention Inspections
(LPI), Citations reports , Hygiene & kitchen Inspections …) into the system.
 Doing follow ups on the corrective actions required from the subcontractor & Doing statistics to
monitor their response rate of the subcontractors in order to classify them.
 Data base & registration for (personal& vehicles) site passes & FILLING.
 Enter scores and make reports for the program of Be Safe.
 Sharing in Translation for some subjects e.g. :( Environment Inductions & meetings) .
 Preparing all the presentations & training for all “H.S.E” subjects.
 Perform clerical duties and create and maintain accurate data records in support of departmental /
