Developed, designed and tested various order and allocation related features.
Performed code enhancements and bug fixes on an extremely low latency client and server-side application.
Responsible for the design and development of critical features such as Send to Trading Parallel and Final
Allocation Report functionalities.
Intern, Monster Worldwide (May – Aug 2016)
Worked as Software Engineer intern and developed an App for Tracking Job Ad Transactions by using Restful
API. Project involved using Http Client class to make get, post, patch and put request that modifies Db.
Developed another App that extracts Jobs from Monster Aws instances and uses Aws CloudWatch package to
extract its data points and processes them. These data points were later fetched to a metrics in CloudWatch for
better auto-scaling in Aws.
PROJECTS
Automated Release Notes (https://github.com/BU-NU-CLOUD-SP16/Automated-Release-Notes - video) (Jan - May 2016)
Worked for a Maine based Software company to develop a Java plug-in as a product for that company.
The Java plug-in was integrated with Jet brains continuous integration tool and Visual Studio to generate and
email release notes to user with build and commit details.
This is an 'Open Source' project mentored by engineers from Mingle Analytics.
Smart Car (https://github.com/estherlu/EC544_Group4) (Aug-Dec 2015)
Collected variety of physical data and represented them on a PC using a server.
Calibrated various sensors and integrated them with Arduino and Raspberry pi 2.
Created a website that controlled car, displayed its current location and gave live stream using webcam and pi.
Processed the collected data and took real time corrective actions through the crawler accordingly.
Jitsi Android App (Aug -Dec 2015)
Studied Android App development and created an App for Video Conferencing.
Created BU-Service that used Web-RTC to make video bridge and MySQL to store user data.
AWS was used to host video bridge (ec2), database (s3) and implement elastic IP.
High Precision Localization of Smart Cars (2015-16)
Developed a localization system which creates a 3D environment around each vehicle, integrates the process data
with existing maps.
Aids in vehicular communication with real time data processing for Smart and Autonomous cars in a Smart City.
Object Identification and Sorting using PLC (2014-15)
Studied various Industrial sensors used to identify different types of objects.
