• Name of the Flash Website:
DTC “ Dubai Taxi Corporation “ Achievements.
• The reason behind selecting the idea of the website:
As we were working at DTC, they want to display website about the company
achievements in an animated and interactive way. So, we chose this idea as
a Flash website project to serve their goal.
3. Goals, Audience and scope (GAS)
Analysis:
Purpose:
•To create animated and interactive animations for the visitors who visit the
company.
Goals:
•To show other people their achievements .
•To kill the time for the visitors while they are waiting in the waiting room.
• To show visitors and other companies that they are using interactive
technologies and multimedia.
•To be as a documentation for the company.
4. Goals, Audience and scope (GAS)
Analysis:
• Target audience:
Both gender of the visitors, customers, staff and drivers who are in the corporation.
• Demographic:
For visitors, customers, staff and drivers of different ages between 15 and 40 and
different nations like ( UAE, GCC, Ethiopia, India, England….. And others).
• Skills:
Know how to open files, know how to use touch screens.
• Technology:
latest version of flash player, web browser, Internet connection.

Scope/contents:
•Images : have been provided from Dubai Taxi Corporation. ( We didn’t use
Internet for resources).
•Texts: have been provided from Dubai Taxi Corporation. ( We didn’t use
Internet for resources).
•Animation: five swf documents.
6. Design
• Template: We designed our own template However, welcome Page ( is ready template from
DVD :Classroom In a Book- Adobe Flash Professional)
• Colors: black, Red and Beige
• Font : type: Arial/ size: 30 and 20/ color: white
• Interactive menu: Dubai Taxi car’s buttons
• Pages: “ Welcome page, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 “.
• Photoshop for editing images and effects.
• Content: information about the company and images about DTC achievements during 4 years.
7. Technical skills
In this project we tried to apply a diversity of tools that helps us to produce it in
engaging way. For example we used:
•We used shape, motion and classic tweens to create a transitions for the
photos.
•Furthermore we utilize symbols like movie clip, graphics and buttons for the
images.
•In addition, we added alpha, tint, advanced color and blur effects in the images
•Also, we used mask in several pictures because its add an amazing effect on
them but I use it in different styles.
•Finally, action script 3 to link between the pages and buttons. Also, in the
welcome page we used it to set the code of enter button in order to move to
the website content.
8. Navigation
• The navigation will be as a clip art picture of taxi Dubai car. Will be 5 main
buttons for 5 main pages which are (Home button for the welcome page
which will give the viewers a overview of the DTC corporation, and other
buttons will be for the years(2008 to 2011) which display the DTC
achievements through these years)
9. Pages
• In the first page will be as a welcome page that give the user an information
about the DTC corporation with title of the website and images. In the
bottom will be a button the called Enter which enable the user to see the
DTC achievements from 2008 to 2011.
• When the user click on enter button they will see 5 buttons up (2008-2009-
2010-2011) the buttons will be as DTC taxi car. In each year the user will
see the pictures the events that happened during the year with a text that
recognize the viewer the month of the event and the name of it.
10. Team Work
• This project is done by Hisa Al-Ali and Warda Mohammed.
• Hisa Al-Ali will responsible to work in 2009 and 2010 pages.
• Warda will work in 2008 and 2011 pages.
• Hisa and Warda will create the template of the projects and edit the
welcome page together.
11. Issue
• Actually, we faced some difficulties while we
are working, the flash keep closing and
some times we didn’t save our work.
• What’s more, the flash was giving as
massage that flash out of memory which
enable us to insert new images. So we have
to borrow a laptop from the library to
complete the project.
• Also, it was not allow us to purplish the
project because the size of the file is big.
12. Conclusion/Recommendations
•The last but not least, from this project we learnt how to create an interactive
website using flash. Furthermore, we discovered new animations in the flash
that we apply it in our work. we recommended all flash users to save their work
consistently and have another copy of their work in case their laptop is damage.
Furthermore, avoid creating flash file more than 35 KB because it might not
publish. Additionally, we recommended to use flash software in order to create
website or videos because its powerful software that has several amazing
features. Certainly in our future career we will use flash to create videos,
presentations and websites in interactive and engaging ways.
