Children are all very settled and enjoying their new indoor and outdoor learning environments.
The main area of development is Loose Parts Play. Loose parts are materials that can be moved,
carried, combined, redesigned, lined up, and taken apart and put back together in multiple ways.
They are materials with no specific set of directions that can be used alone or combined with
other materials. Loose parts can be natural or synthetic.
The staff are working together to develop the playrooms and incorporate real life contexts into the
children’s learning.
We are trying to establish a Parent/Carer group to support with developing our outdoor
environment.
