In the particular case of urban mobility, people are still counting cars manually, people sitting on street corners with clickers in their hands, or doing manual surveys, which are expensive, non scalable, and limited in terms of sample size, and therefore inaccurate. Kido came up with an integrated solution based on millions of data points, and which yields incredibly accurate information, that can be used by toll road operators, bus lines operators, municipalities or governments.
This is a real case of an electric car charging station, where we provide information about trip distance, stay length, and cars’ arrival/departure, as well as which roads the used to get there.
