1. HELĂ, THE PENNY-PINCHER
Oral and Written Project about Money
Presented to the subject of english, from the teacher Valdemir
2. I'm definitely
a saver!
I have always been known as a penny-pincher
cause I can't spend money as my family does.
3. I receive my
money from
my parents.
Every important holiday like, and even at my birthdays, I
would ask my parents for money as a present. During my
high school years, I would ask for money to buy something
to eat, and instead, I would keep it for later.
4. It makes me happy and pretty.
I feel better when I'm using clothes I like, so is worth it!
By buying clothes, I put into practice what I learned.
I study fashion as a hobby, and the process of searching and
analyzing the clothes is a healthy passionate way of testing myself.
It's a investiment!
Clothes will be with me everyday for years, and after that I can
still reform, sell or donate it!
Spend on
clothes is
never a
mistake!
5. My bank
account.
It was opened at March 2020 but I have never used it.
I used to have some money saved but my family took it
cause they don't have any financial control and we are
poor â I couldn't deny it.
6. The people
usually deal
with money:
â Spend it with unnecessary stuff.
â Pay for expensive prices.
â Don't invest or save money.
â Use the credit card without control.
The way I
do/will deal
with money:
â Take necessities over desires.
â Search for the better price.
â Always save, even a little.
â Only use the credit card when you
can pay for your expenses.
8. Good bargains.
Thrift.
You can always find good
things at thrift stores â I had
the luck to find an original red
nylon Prada bag once!
Use the apps.
There's a lot of discounts being
offered to those who have
accounts at the app of these
stores.
Plan and study it.
If you plan a trip, a pass at the
grocery store or a date with
friends, you'll for sure pay less
then if you take these decisions
impulsively.
9. Since I don't have a
job yet, I don't use
my credit card for
nothing, but once I
get one I will
definitely make use
of it so I can get
points!
Paying
with
cash
only!
10. If I win the lottery ...
Buy a house!
A good apartment near where I
study and will work at the future.
Share with who needs it!
I would pay all of the debts of my
family members, donate to charity
and buy from small artists.
Education!
Lot of books, classes and courses
about what I like.
Travel a lot!
Go to new places, eat different
food, learn about others culture,
make happy memories!
Save and invest!
It's important to save money for
emergency and never spend more
than you have.
New clothes, new me!
Reform my closet with brand
new pieces; become the
better version of me.
