I have focused on the importance of societal and familial constructs on the development of
adolescence and early adulthood. I have also focused on the impact of conflict and conflict
resolution such as mediation and restorative justice.

Research
I am interested in exploring the relationship between mental illness and racial and gender
inequalities within my community. I am also interested in exploring the relationship between
these two variables and the impact they have on the familial structure.
