II. San Pellegrino "Almost Famous Chef" Competition - The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill

 Hosted semi-final regional culinary event & reception for top 8 students involved in the
national competition at the college's Courtyard location. Students ultimately competed for a
paid apprenticeship under a nationally recognized chef, a trip to Napa and $10,000
 Worked directly with S. Pellegrino to customize event kitchens with branding
materials, created sexy simulcast viewing area, oversaw local celebrity judging
panel, developed tasting stations, and provided media opportunities for VIP event
 Organized Chef tastings, managed intricate details for timing of program schedule,
developed VIP hospitality suite, and directed local celebrity chef judges including:
Chef Michael Stollenwerk (Fish/Branzino), Chef/Restaurateur and James Beard
Finalist, Marcie Turney (Lolita/Barbuzzo/Bindi/Little Nonnas/Jamonera)

 Exclusive annual food tasting event with the 30+ top restaurants raising $50,000 to combat
childhood hunger worldwide while assisting local beneficiaries like Philabundance, The
Food Trust, The Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger, and The Pennsylvania Hunger
Action Center.
 Active event committee chair member dedicated to the organization's national "No
Kid Hungry" campaign through promotion of annual event and silent auction
 Structured and managed operations for sold-out event including volunteer
responsibilities, worked with participating restaurants/chefs/health department,
