QUESTION 1
First, when trying to compare my poster conventions to another movie poster, I need
to set out what the actual conventions are of a movie poster.
CONVENTIONS
1. A main image, making up the background of the poster
2. Title of the film
3. Actors/Actresses names
4. Tagline/slogan
5. Date of release
7. Additional actors/actresses/directors/crew
8. Website/Social Media

CONVENTIONS DEVELOPED IN MY POSTER
As I talked about in the ‘conventions
developed in my trailer’ section, social
media is becoming a large area for film
makers. It is a form of advertising and
discussion.
Hashtags on Twitter, are almost ‘word of
mouth’, as it shows multiple people
talking about all the same subject. TV
shows regularly use a pre-assigned
hashtag at the start of a show for people
to talk about that particular episode on
Twitter.
