This document uses data mining techniques to analyze toss decision outcomes and their impacts on match results for the Australian and New Zealand cricket teams at the 2021 T20 World Cup. Association rule mining is applied to player performance statistics to determine if teams prefer batting or bowling first after winning the toss. The analysis found that Australian teams favored bowling first and had very accurate toss decision outcomes, while New Zealand teams had mixed results depending on the strength of their opponent. Ground-level data on boundary lengths and past toss result trends are also provided to aid in pre-match strategic analysis.

Decisions.
• Data mining is one of the widely used techniques for finding hidden
patterns from voluminous data. Sports management committee uses
data mining as a tool to select the players of the team to achieve best
results.
• In this Presentation, data mining is used for Australia and New
Zealand cricket team, and an analysis is being carried out to decide
the order of Batting or bowling decision made after the toss
decisions. Association mining rule is applied to performance data
such as( batting average and bowling average, pitch specification,
weather conditions. etc) pertaining to Australia and New Zealand
Cricketers collected from secondary resources. Some of the index
parameters such as performing in first inning or second inning or
playing in the home country or abroad are used.

Zealand Cricketers for 2021 T20 world cup. The detailed study carried
out reveals that performance of Australian and New Zealand
cricketers while playing in the first inning or second inning is
preferred. after the toss results. The same methodology can be
applied to other Team’s cricket players.

18. T20 two finalist Team Luck During
Toss and Helpful Analytical
decisions
Looking at the previous, slides, its pretty clear
how much important it is to be prepare with
what option to choose after toss result. As in
Australian case it has been 100% accuracy on
their luck and match result has been positively
proportionate. The decision made regarding
batting first or second, has helped Australia a
lot in wining the Match. However, it hasn’t
been 100 % in terms on NZ cricketers, they has
even won matches after loosing the toss, but it
has only happened with those teams whose
performance is lower than their cricketers'
performances, but with competitive team,
their luck and analytics decisions have had
helped in keeping winnings in their own hands.
