1. The Big Screw Up!
Scene 1 “Working on the Laptop” (Studio)
Ryan is working on the laptop.
The laptop cuts out.
Ryan: Wh!
Ryan is confused. Then the laptop starts smoking
Ryan picks up his phone and calls Lee (his friend)
Sound effect: Dialling tone, ringtone.
Ryan: Hi Lee I’ve broke Ben’s laptop what do I do?
Lee (on the phone): Get rid of it.
Ryan (panicking): How?
Lee: I don’t know just think of something. (Phone hangs up)
Scene 2 “Getting rid of the hazard” (Studio to lift)
Ryan runs out of the apartment with the laptop. He sees the lift and runs towards it in a
rush.
The lift arrives, he runs into the lift, puts the laptop on the floor, presses the button and runs
out.
The doors close, then there’s an explosion. Ryan falls back and lands on the floor
unconscious.
Scene 3 “Aftermath of the mishap” (lift)
Ryan is still on the floor.
Ben leaves the apartment and decides to take the lift. He sees Ryan on the floor.
Ben: Why are you on the floor? That’s where your feet are meant to go, not you a----!
Ryan (shouts): NOTHING!
Ben: Why is there smoke on your face? Did you blow up the lift or something?
Ryan: How did you know?
Ben’s phone rings
Ben: It’s Lee.
Ryan (panicking): No don’t answer.
2. The Big Screw Up!
Ben answers the phone.
Ben: Hi Lee.
Lee: Hi Ben, I don’t know if Lee told you, but he broke your laptop. Bye
Ben: What? Phone hangs up
Ben drops the phone in shock. He looks at the lift, then figures out why the lift exploded.
Ben: You rat b***ard
Ryan: I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry
Ben and Ryan fight on the floor
Scene 4 “The Fight” (Studio and outside)
Ryan arrives back at the apartment. He sneaks in, goes around the corner and sees Ben.
Ben picks Ryan up by the ankles and throws him out of the window.
Ryan lands on the floor outside.
