1. COUNTING BREATHS
KOLEZIJA PRIMARY SCHOOL, LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA
DESCRIPTION:
Children count
their breaths in
different situations
or after different
activities in a short
period of 1 minute
or less, depends on
their abilities. They
can also count
their breaths a
certain number of
times and then sit
down or give some
other sign they are
finished.

2. GOALS:

awareness of their
breathing
• Increasing their focus
• Improving their
awareness of
parts of their body
• Learning to count
• Improving their sense
of time
• Learning about how
breathing is connected
to their mood, their
emotions, their
activities, ….
