Thiswas the firstweekof myFinal Major Project,the firstdayof thisprojectwasfocusedonthe
contextof our project.Ihad alreadycreateda pre-proposal withsome ideasof whatIwantedto do
before Christmas,thisweekwasjustextrainformationonthis.Iwantedtocreate a carry on feminist
fanzine frommypastprojectbut thisfanzine tobe focusedonrole modelsfromall overthe world.I
believecontextisthe bestwaytogetto the rootsof yourprojectso I decidedtoresearchdifferent
role modelsaswell asproductswhichwouldsuitmyproject.OnMonday,I had startedto research
CaitlinMoranand Femmagazine. Ihad enoughknowledge aboutCaitlinMoranbythe endof the
day withtwoPowerPointslidesfull of informationaboutthisauthor, broadcasterandjournalist.I
like toresearchas lookingbackat my otherprojectsIwouldsaythat researchismy strong pointasI
like toknowlotsaboutmy projectbefore creatingit.However,Iwouldlike toconductfurther
researchon CaitlinMoran as I want toknow what has drivenherandwhysomeone shouldadmire
hercomparedto otherrole modelslike Michelle Obama.Ihave juststartedtoresearchFem
magazine sonaturallyIneedtoresearchfurtherand findoutwhatinspiresthemasa magazine and
whytheydecidedtocreate a product withthisparticulartopic.Thatbeingsaid,I needtocreate
furtherresearchas I wantto at leastresearch3 projects/peopletomake myproductthe bestitcan
be.WhenI am in projects,Itendto prioritise tasksoverothertasks,thisweekthisisshownperfectly
as I prioritisedmyproposal overfinishingthiscontext.FromotherprojectsIhave likedcreatinga
proposal as itmakesme feel asthoughI am organisedwithmyworkand I know whatI want to
achieve andhowI am goingto make it tothis point.Ithinkthe onlyproblemIhave whenIcreate a
proposal isthe rationale,overtwoyearsIhave learntso manynew skillstothe pointwhenIcan’t
rememberwhattheyare until Ihitmy productionwhenI needthem.ThisiswhatI couldimprove
on,whenI come back to correctingmy proposal andproof readingitI wouldlike toredomy
rationale andmake itmore reflective fromthe pasttwoyears.Overall,Ifeel asthoughthisweekhas
beena learningcurve,Ididn’tcreate enoughworkconsideringthatmydeadlineforthisworkisthe

but on ThursdayI will knuckle down,complete the lasttwosectionsof myproposal,correctthe
rationale andfinishmycontextresearch.
