Later, Hampton Luzak branched out into television reporting and casting for independent films. In addition to her professional contributions, Hampton Luzak is involved with several nonprofit organizations such as the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). ASPCA is a nonprofit organization founded by Henry Bergh in 1866. With over two million supporters across the United States, the organization promotes programs to enforce anti-cruelty practices regarding the treatment of animals. In 2020, ASPCA opened a veterinary forensic science center offering free forensic services to provide laboratory evidence for legal cases related to animal cruelty. Located in Gainesville, Florida, the center is the first ever forensic laboratory in the United States exclusively dedicated to animals. The center’s staff includes veterinary forensic experts who are certified professionals qualified to perform live animal forensic exams and necropsies.
