Scenario
SCC Publishing, a new magazine publisher aims to produce several new brands in summer 2015, designed to capture the 16-25
year old market. The magazine will be published both online and in print. You have been commissioned to provide facsimile
layouts of a double page spread and front cover, as well as a house style and original masthead, for new magazines from a
choice of the following genres: Film, music, sport, gaming, or fashion. You will carry out research into audience, as well as being
responsible for the drafting and sub-editing of articles.

information as a PowerPoint on your blog.
Task 2: Draft an article for a new magazine, from a choice of genres (music, film, gaming, fashion or
sport).
Task 3: Give this article to your sub editor and re-draft when they have suggested edits and made
corrections. You will also need to work as a sub-editor, editing the work of a peer. On your blog present
your first draft article, your finished draft article and evidence of your own work in sub editing
