1. SPECIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS:
Collapsible type of Rolling Ladder was newly designed, fabricated and successfully erected in
client’s location. This design was developed for Double Deck Floating Roof Tank of tank height
greater than diameter and erected in Najaf Refinery, Iraq. The ladder was designed with self
leveling stair threads.
Spreadsheet Calculations was developed to the following type of storage tanks.
Cone Roof
Dome Roof
External Floating Roof
Internal Floating Roof
The Calculation Involves Static Calculation which comprise Shell, Bottom, Roof Plates, CG
Calculation, Wind Girder Calculation, Wind Analysis, Seismic Analysis, Dynamic Hoop Stress,
Anchorage Design, Internal Pressure and External Pressure Calculation for Storage Tanks.
Floating Roof Calculation was also developed whichinvolvesBuoyancy Check,Plate Buckling
Check, Leg Pipe Support, Roof Drain, Emergency Drain system and Rimvent Calculation.
Vessel Sizing were done by developing spreadsheet based on ASME requirement.
Spreadsheetwasdesigned to determine FlowTeeThickness and Slot Area Thickness.
Packing Crate was newly developed forLifting Plates, Structures, Pipes etc.. Analysis were
done using ANSYS and STAAD Pro.Lifting Beam and Lifting plates were also designed for
lifting crates using FEAmethod.
