I believe I would be a good fit for the Production Supervisor/ Manager position as I have 11
years experience working in a manufacturing/production facility with with 3 years as a 2nd
shift
Production Pin Cell Lead and 8 years as an assistant warehouse manager in production planning,
shipping&receiving, inventory control, and quality control. I worked off of the SAP AS400 production
schedule for 8 years as an assistant warehouse manager and 3 years as a 2nd
shift Pin Cell Lead/machine
operator. I printed out daily, 7-day, 14-day, and 30-day production reports and planned ahead to be sure
all material and stock was available to complete the job. I also have 11 years experience working under
ISO 9001 standards. I also have 8 years experience in quality control, using calipers, dial indicators, ID
& OD micrometers, hardness checks and bore gages. I managed a staff of 18-22 employees for 8 years
and was involved in hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and employee reviews. I trained staff in
classroom or one-on-one settings on mechanical assembly, paperwork, ergonomics, company
procedures, quality control, emergency procedures, forklift safety, MSDS, PPE, safety training and
wrote quality checklist and assembly SOP's. I wrote SOP's/Work Instructions for ISO9001 certification
for our mechanical assembly, machine operators, and quality control departments. I submitted daily,
weekly, and monthly reports on production, quality control, inventory, and shipping/receiving reports to
my boss as well. I came up with process improvements to save the company money, time, and make
steps/procedures more efficient and I encouraged my staff to do the same. I was also on a safety
committee at 2 of my last 3 jobs promoting a safe and clean workplace. I'm organized, hard working,
like being the “Go to Guy”, quick learner, trainable, a “working manager”, mechanically inclined,
career oriented, and reliable. I'm looking to start a long lasting career and looking to make at least
$54k/yr or more.
