Employed as a Customer Services Engineer, by BT Openreach. My core duties are to facilitate
installations into customer premises, and to rectify faults within the network. I am currently allocated to
the overhead team, working on the Openreach network

Transferred from FLM to Enterprise, within Traxe Global Services. Employed as a commissioning
engineer on SLTE equipment throughout the whole of Asia. Commissioning and integrating equipment
(Often on live networks)

Employed as a Senior Customer Support engineer, for Traxe Global Services. I am currently employed
on the First Line Maintenance contract covering the North of England, for companies such as A.O.L,
Sky Broadband and Imtech.

Working as a Fibre Optic Splicer and Tester at A.W.E Aldermaston for Honeywell. Whilst in this
position I gained my security clearance for M.O.D sites.
MAY 2004 - APRIL 2005
Working for Fujitsu Telecoms installing ASDH, ADSL and HDSL systems for B.T. My duties involve
installation of the rack and shelf, installing the power to the rack, installation of the cards into the shelf
and then commissioning the shelf and then to integrate the system into the B.T network. Other duties
involve stripping, prepping and splicing the associated fibre optic cables, installing and terminating the
3002 series coaxial cables and installing and terminating the 100 pair copper cables where necessary. I
was released, along with over 100 other contractors, in April due to lack of work from B.T.

Employed by D.J.M Communications. I was required to work with different vendor equipment i.e.
Krone and Avaya. DJM Communications secured a large contract for Black Box Network Services
during which we installed Avaya products for Orange Mobile Communications.

Employed as an ’Outside Plant Engineer’ for Eurobell Holdings Ltd. The position involved the
supervision of outside contractors and advising them on the splicing and testing of the fibre optic
cables, the termination and testing of co-axial and multi core copper cables. Once the contractors’
work had been completed and had been accepted my duties were maintain and upgrade the fibre
network.

Employed as an ‘Advanced Job Skills Instructor’ for Saudi Aramco, in the Middle East. My duties
were to design a course and then teach the employees advanced skills in fibre optic and copper
cable techniques. I also did contractor certification to ensure that the contactors were up to the
strict standards of Saudi Aramco.

Employed as a ‘fibre Optics Engineer’ as a contractor by COGENT (Sub-division of Nortel)
4. planning and installing a fibre optic network into various R.A.F sites throughout Europe (This was
part of the LDCN contract). Working to tight schedules and often working in secure areas. My last
position in this contract was as Senior Fibre Engineer on the largest R.A.F site in Europe. I was in
charge of a team of approximately 12 experienced fibre engineers. I was also required to terminate
and test CAT 5 installations on various R.A.F sites as part of my duties.
