● Dress copper/ fiber optic cable in various rack mount and wall mount applications.
● Installation and mounting of wireless access points.
● Preparation, termination, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables from 6 to
288 strand cables (Tight and loose tube buffer)
● Fiber optic circuit builds for industrial cctv, process control, fire alarm, and corporate LAN
networks.
● Familiar with TE/ Tyco, Belden, Corning, and ADC/ TrueNET product lines
● Familiar with the Fluke DTX 1800 copper tester, Exfo FTB 200 OTDR, Exfo FPM 300 SM fiber
power meter, Fujikura 50, and 60S fusion splicer, Sumitomo splice machine, Corning unicam
fiber optic termination kit
● Work experience at the following industrial oil sand plant sites. ( Suncor Oilsands Base Plant,
Fire Bag, and MacKay River. Canadian Natural Resources Limited CNRL. Shell Albian Sands. )
