Theater Show’s for Black History and the History of Rock
The Theater shows are a musical and educational journey through time
featuring the five piece Glenn Marais Band staged in a local theater with
multiple school attendance to offer professional shows at a manageable cost.
Each performance features an incredible keynote concert, tracing the evolution
of black culture and music throughout history and concludes with the band
taking the audience on a musical rollercoaster ride from Chuck Berry and
Motown to Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars.

Djembe Drum Theater
An incredible new program that blends movement, Djembe drumming and slam
poetry into an exhilarating and powerful theatrical performance that will engage
your students at a very high level, utilizing critical thinking and differentiated
learning practice to create a performance that will blow audiences away!
Theater Production and Play writing
Glenn is recognized by educators across Ontario as an expert in multi-
discipline theatre productions, authoring a 14 act anti-bullying play, A Day
in the Life of… and co-authoring several different productions with students
and staff and co-creator of a pioneering Djembe Drum Theatre program, that
combines West African drumming, dance, movement, and slam poetry.
From custom keynote concerts to character based workshops, theater
