Workshop Description
Are your preschool students losing focus? Are you searching for fun and upbeat learning
activities to spark your learning environment?
This fun and interactive presentation will demonstrate how colorful felt sets, upbeat music
and movement can help children focus while learning many important subjects such as:
colors, counting, science, social-emotional interaction, history and more.
FeltSongs Stories make use of all three learning modalities,
♦ Visual,
♦ Auditory and
♦ Kinesthetic
to ensure that each child learns in his/her own special way.
Presentation Learning Objectives
♦ Participants will learn how to present the FeltSongs Stories effectively in their classroom
and how to use their voice as an instrument.
♦ Participants will apply the instructional techniques acquired during this presentation to
control and enhance the learning environment along with the comprehension of their
students.
♦ Participant will learn how to create their own felt sets for their students. They will be
encouraged to take pictures to help them re-create the designs.
♦ Participant will learn how to construct a felt board to effectively present the FeltSongs
Stories in their classrooms.
