For each step, a large quantity of fine cement powder is produced and released in the air. Then, this powder lays down all over the plant (on production machines, trucks, buildings, workers), consequently posing a serious threat to workers’ health, production efficiency and the environment. When necessary, the machines are even stopped to be cleaned, consequently causing unexpected costs - up to the 20% of the total amount of the cement production – and undermining business’ sustainability.
2. Production of cement powder
Cement production processes like grinding, quarrying, packaging -or means
like cement kilns- constantly cause airborne dust spread all around the
factory.
Cement powder is fine and sticky -and so very hard to deal with - as well as
dangerous for people and equipment involved in the whole production
process.
Moreover, for industrial plants this danger entails several downtimes in
production lines, and so a source of heavy maintenance costs.

3. Environmental risks:
ISO 14000
It is important to reduce the impact
of production activities on the
environment, as defined by
international regulations.
Health prevention
Protect all workers from airborne
cement powder.
Leaders around the world admit
that the respect of tools and
techniques’ good safety
management entails a reduction
in injuries and illnesses as well as
an improvement in efficiency,
quality and productivity.
Risk of clogging
Sources of airborne dust
emmissions: crusher, breaker,
conveyer belt, riddle, unloading
station, storage, etc.
When production tools are
clogged, the production line has
to be stopped and cleaned.
This is a very long process which
consists in about the 20% of
productions costs.

reduction
Suction also allows to recover
cement dust leaks provoked by
packaging process.
Downtime reduction
Fast and safe cleaning of the
plant to prevent downtimes and
to avoid efficiency losses.

Massive cleaning allows both to
keep process lines on full service
and to increase the production
rate.

10. Fixed central installations consist of a suction unit and a series of
pipes which can be installed anywhere inside the plant. It is an
extremely flexible tool: it can be used to clean production lines,
floors and installations during or after the working cycle.

Collection unit
One operator alone can clean the whole warehouse with no need
of help or other tools. The fixed cleaning system allows to
simultaneously collect material from many different inlets, and
so to efficiently clean wide areas. Vacuumed material is collected
in a single container or inside different pre-separators, placed
either inside or outside the factory, making it easier for the
operators to deal with their disposal or recycling.
