I have 32 years’ experience in the construction and maintenance trade, having run my own
construction business and working as a contractor for international companies. In my time running
my own business most of my clients were repeat business or referrals from existing clients,

have strong management and sales skills borne of years working in the retail business.

Responsibilities I was the project manager responsible for overseeing all new building projects
on the estate. Building projects included developing and building houses and
guesthouses, a 46 room hostel, a clubhouse and restaurant, a transport
workshop and offices, an extension to the training centre as well an informal
market. In total the value of the projects I managed was $2.77 million.
In the course of my contract Sierra Leone experienced the Ebola outbreak and
I was deployed to build two Ebola centres at hospitals close to the
construction sites.
