1. Introduction

In responding to this survey 15 out 16 teachers answered the questions including the school
principal.
Because I am not employed with any schools at this time, I adopted Live Oak Elementary
school. I have some contacts with the school and Live Oak was recommended. The principal
gave me permission to work with the teachers in assessing the conditions related to
technology. The survey took a long time to complete because it was put on the bottom of the
teachers’ “to do list.” I had to make face-to-face contact with each respondent to complete the
assignment. I previously attempted to use e-mail but only a few completed the survey. The
teachers were cooperative with the face-to-face survey.
