2. As i am certain about having theatre as my genre for my regional magazine genre i also looked at a theatre
website to get inspiration and compare them to original regional magazines.The next slide shows what i
found when research these and looking at them for inspiration.
3. Theatre Website Research Findings
The font used is clear and works well in
relation to the layout on the
website.This makes it easier for the
reader to look a clearly presented
category.An competitive method is used
when it says “sign up” which makes the
readers want an account to get the
latest deals and get first buys of
tickets.This evidence is very similar to
the region magazine deconstruction when
they use the competitiveness of winning
something.
The london theatre website aso used a
technical code when they used all
different types of images some of which
used different shots which connoted how
much fun people had at theatre
productions.The home page of the theatre
website also features a moving
powerpoint of people at film festivals
and the theatre.They don't this to
symbolically show the audience how much
fun theatre is which follows up a number
of theorists.I will be taking
inspiration from this for my ancillary
task as it attracted to to look more
into the website so i'm hoping it will
have the same affect on others.

Personally i like the layout
of this website more than the
genre specific website of
london theatre.I will take
inspiration from this and the
colours they use as i want my
background to be naturalistic
but my images to be vivid and
excited.I will metaphorically
use this as a person but when
they act all their
personality and
characteristics shine through
to people just like the
images on the page.I will be
using different fonts as i
feel capital letters in
unnecessary however i want to
make my font original.

In my opinion this is my example of
a bad website as it is very bland
and boring.My opinion is based off
the layout and they haven't used
any technical code.The website has
no images therefor throwing the
readers off how much writing their
is.I also think the colours are too
natural.Whilst making my own i will
be using this one a a goal to make
mine look better and set myself a
target of making it better quality.
