2. Firstly I used the ‘magic eraser tool’ get rid of the background on the image to insert my own
background to make it look more professional and realistic

3. Secondly, I used the ‘eye dropper tool’ to mimic the same colour background as ‘Fabulous
mag’ to create a sense of realism

4. I then tried to find a font as close
to the ‘Fabulous mag’ masthead
font and positioned it at the top
of the magazine, as this is the
main place for a magazine
masthead to be placed

5. After this, I then started to add text for the sub-heading and date on the mag, I then
positioned the masthead behind the star, to mimic the ‘fabulous mag’

6. I started to mess around with fonts and colours to try get the exact connotations
of ‘Fabulous mag’ I had to copy the text featured on their magazine and get rid
of the background to use it for my own magazine, I then locked the pixels so i
could change the colour of the text

7. I then started to change the background colour, as I thought having a lighter background
would give it a more professional and older feel

8. After this, I started to link the colours of the text featured on the magazine to the story line
of my trailer, I used dark red, as the connotations of this colour are; danger, love, lust, sex
and romance, which all link into the storyline

9. Then I added the last bits
of text to the magazine to
give it a final finish and
look

10. Finally, I added a offer to the magazine, which is also featured on my model mag, to attract
the target audience and give the magazine a professional finished feel
