remote locations and seven forward deployed ships. Completed ten
initial investigations of traffic accidents and UCMJ violations.
* Field Training Officer - As a command Field Training Officer I
used sound, competent judgment to skillfully balance training
with security commitments, ensuring 100% compliance for all
training evolutions. Personally assisted ten junior personnel in
achieving thier qualifications ahead of schedule.
* Coxswain - Served as Craft Commander for six patrol craft
equipped with crew served weapons assigned to protect visiting
and home ported high value assets. Provided waterborne perimeter
security patrols without incident or accident. Responsible for
the safety and security of over 100 ship movements and 50 berth
shifts. Escorted 60 vessels in/out of Sasebo Harbor. Conducted
158 safety and security inspections of tugs and pilot boats,
various barges and water taxis providing services to all
USS/USNS ships operating in Sasebo Harbor. Conducted harbor
security patrols during the annual July 4th celebration attended
by 5,000 visitors and during USS John C. Stennis (CVN74) carrier
strike group port visit. Maintained a stringent security posture
ensuring both events were incident free.

super typhoon Pongsona and helped with base enhancement day by
cleaning up Dadi Beach.
