Maintenance/ Quality Assurance Technician:
- Performed in excess of 25,000 hours in preventive and corrective maintenance on various equipment
and ships systems to include: 3 inch launcher delivery system,torpedo tubes,high pressure air,
seawater, hydraulics, and small arms.
- Performed in excess of 5,000 hours of Quality Assurance work including package creation, worksite
preparations, maintenance, retests and paperwork closeout.
- Disassembled, rebuilt, reassembled, and recertified numerous ship systems during an extended
shipyard availability to include: 3” launcher delivery system, torpedo tubes,high pressure air,
seawater, hydraulics.
- Researched, wrote and executed over 60 hydraulic, electrical, seawater and pneumatic tagouts to
create systemsafety boundaries in accordance with government regulations regarding maintenance
safety standards.
- Performed preventive and corrective maintenance on over 150 toolings that are used daily to
manufacture the exhaust systems for Ford and General Motors.
Program Management:
- Managed the maintenance, operation, and certification of over 200 pieces of conventional weapons
handling equipment worth in excess of $1,000,000. While program owner, verified the safe handling of
over 40 torpedo handling events with no equipment failures.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory for over $750,000 in divisional parts, to include researching
and requisitioning new parts as needed. Coordinated closely with maintenance supervisorto ensure
parts are available for upcoming jobs and managed the storage and organization of the 1000+ parts.

- Ensured divisional compliance with government regulations regarding the use and disposalof hazardous
material (HAZMAT). Routinely audited worksite safety publications and managed HAZMAT inventory.

conventionalweapons. Coordinated with other departmental personnelwhile following strict procedural
