1. For someone who has no grey hair, Geoff Cook
exudes wisdom beyond his youthful appearance. At
the age of 23, Geoff entered the investment industry
and right away successfully completed the Certified
Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Truly a student of the investment industry, Geoff has
already travelled to Omaha to study the investing
habits of Warren Buffett whom many professionals
consider to be the most skilled investor of all time.
Geoff grew up in Parry Sound and is described as
approachable and trustworthy, and now maintains
an office in Barrie. “Something I learned early from
my mother…respect myself, respect others, and I
also have respect for maintaining the integrity of
our industry,”comments Geoff.
As a result of several referrals, Geoff has become
involved in fixing complex leverage situations and
has established a reputation for genuinely helping
clients. “Unfortunately the Barrie area has been
plagued with investors who inappropriately
borrowed money to invest, and Geoff has stepped in
and done a stellar job of assisting these individuals,”

Continuing to learn, Geoff has the Chartered
Alternative Investment Planner designation and is in
the process of obtaining the Trust and Estate
Practitioner designation. “My clients like that I am

and services to clients and has been most astute in
surrounding himself with well experienced people
