If a customer is a current Nimble user or purchases a new Nimble system for on premise it creates a storage platform which allows A3 to replicate data as close to cloud as possible without fully migrating in. Likewise, A3 is able to replicate vm's from customer on premise to a variety of cloud providers. These vm's are converted to a suitable hypervisor vm based on the cloud we choose to use. VMs on the cloud side are "spun down" to a minimum amount of utilization which creates a pilot like scenario. Users are not paying for a system to be up and running waiting for a disaster. They only pay in the event of a failover. This is a massive cost savings for any organization. Typically one would purchase an identical architecture for DR and COOP. The cost of dying so is sometimes prohibitive. In the architecture provided by A3, the cost for DR is minimal.
