Personal Profile
I have over 12 years experience of facilitating drama workshops from foundation ages up to adults. I have
worked with young people considered to be “challenging”, young offenders, and children all ages
considered to have special needs. I love working alone or alongside a co-worker and am flexible to
planning my own sessions and following curriculum topics, to following lesson plans and direct instruction.
When working with children I like to challenge them and set them achievable goals, I am firm but fair and
have a good relationship with children I have taught over a long period of time. I enjoy working in and out
of school environments and with all age ranges. I am passionate and love to demonstrate skills to the
children and inspire them.
When working with adults my main aim is to focus on the issues and drama skills relevant to the group, the
aim with a group can be very different so each workshop/project I approach individually, looking at the
needs and outcome.
I have training in physical theatre, devising, writing, comedysportz and stand up comedy and I often draw
on these when relevant.
