This document provides a brief list of important Flemish paintings from the 15th and 16th centuries, including Jan van Eyck's Arnolfini Marriage from 1434, Rogier van der Weyden's Descent from the Cross from 1435 and Durán Madonna from 1435, Weyden's Magdalen reading from 1438, Hieronymus Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights from 1495 and his Hell Panel, and two paintings by Peter Bruegel the Elder called The Triumph of Death from 1562 that were influential works of Flemish art from the 15th and 16th centuries.
