role out, both Hardware and Softwarewith on and off shore teams. Alsoresponsiblefor the
softwareintegration of the retiring help desk with its opposite number.Ialsomanaged Change
control and Exit planning toensure theservice we provide meets expectations and when exiting we
leave in a planned orderly fashion handing over tothe new incumbents. This involves producing
planning schedules,risks registers, action records and documented process plans.Customer
communications is a key task, establishing and agreeing activities and time scales,reporting
progress against theplans/schedules and meeting time frames and dates.Organising internal
teams toprocureandarrange services toplanned dates conducting phase reviews tomaintain
coherence and readiness tomove forward.
Prev iously working with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) the Accommodation Moves Service
prov ided a rationalisation of staff and premises tostreamline the business.
As Project Manager Ihad toestablish and consolidate new and existing premises UKwide with the
customer. Supporting allexisting and new IT and communications requirements andworking with
the CPS Estates team, suppliers and internalteams toenable a smooth transition of staff to their
new locations without disruption to their current operations in alignment tothe agreed plans and
time scales.Reviewing and reporting tothe customer theprogress and tomaintain readiness to
proceed tothe next prescribed phase. Understanding and tracking the risks and dependencies and
bring these tothe customers attention for discussion and resolution even if it impacted the agreed
schedules and time frames.
My first assignment with CGIwas tothe Thundercloud project a defence bid activity where Iwas
the project Manager on thebid team and responsible for all aspects of the Project Management
related activities such as ProgrammeManagement plans,and related documentation, I.e Quality
Plans response statements and work breakdown structures.
Dealing with Invitation toTender (ITT) and Request for Quotation (RFQ), co-ordinating company
staff, subject matter experts and architects to(intergraded LogisticSupport (ILS) and Quality
Assurance toformulate a comprehensive bid with the Project bid leadand Programme Manager.

In charge of aspects of the Advanced Mission Planning Application tool. This is a software
dev elopment programme activity with the RAF and utilised by multiple aircraft.This flight
planning tool is a complex Software development project with multivariants.Iwas responsible for
a number of these variants,their planning,scheduling and execution within time and budget. I
managed a number of dev elopment and technicalstaff within my project team (2 to20)and work
closely with the Customers,the Chief Engineer,Design Authorities,Project TechnicalLeads and
other internalgroups (Requirements,Configuration Management , Quality Assurance,
Test/Qualification, Airworthiness and Safety) torealise the project,reporting tothe progress and
costs to the programme manager. Working in an Agile method with scrumleads and burn charts I
would plan,trackand co-ordinate with thedevelopers, testers and other teams tomove through
the progress gates toformalqualification,acceptance and release.

prime contractor.This was the Sea King replacement project,the aircraft is now in service with the
Roy al Navy and RAF as the Merlin ASW and HC3 rotary aircraft.
I had theresponsibility for all quality softwareaspects of the project and the E.H.Industries ISO
9001/3 certification. Ireported tothe Quality Director EHI. Ialsow orked with and audited the
twopartner companies GKN WestlandLtd (UK) and Agusta SPA (Italy)at their manufacturing
sites, alsoattending their sub-contractor/suppliers tomaintain the development the quality
processes with supported the generaland flight criticalsystems. Iattend the governmentaland
partner senior Quality Working groups where Ireported progress and findings on quality issues.
