3. • Have you ever had that moment when you had a very important text to
send, but before you could finish sending it, your phone died? Pretty
much any person with a mobile phone/device has experienced that
frustrating moment when a device fails to complete its task due to a lack
of energy. My project is designed to fix this problem in a way that
promotes health by creating a shoe insole that converts the physical
energy created by walking into electricity, which is then stored in a
portable battery pack. This way, you will always have an emergency
power source (and you will be renewing some of your own physical energy
too)!
Piezoelectricity was present ever since mid-18th century. Piezoelectricity is the electric charge
that accumulates in certain solid materials (such as crystals, certain ceramics in response to
applied mechanical stress. This sounds familiar! Yes they do, you can actually find those
piezo elements in your old/ outdated earphones from the 90's.
4. Using CNC technology APC International is able to manufacture piezoelectric ceramic elements in a wide
range of shapes and sizes. APC International most frequently manufactures piezoelectric discs, piezo rings,
piezo plates, and piezo tubes (cylinders). While these are the most common ceramic crystal shapes
manufactured by our machine shop, we also have a great deal of experience manufacturing hemispheres,
trapezoids, concave lenses, and other customer specified shapes.(APC)
5. LIPO BATTERY
• A lithium polymer battery, or more correctly lithium-ion polymer
battery (abbreviated as LiPo, LIP, Li-poly, lithium-poly and others), is
a rechargeable battery of lithium-ion technology using
a polymer electrolyte instead of a liquid one. High conductivity semisolid (gel)
polymers form this electrolyte. These batteries provide a higher specific
energy than other lithium battery types and are being used in applications
where weight is a critical feature - like tablet computers, cellular
telephone handsets or radio-controlled aircraft.
7. It is innovative and eco friendly task. This
method is generating electric voltage for
charging an inside shoes battery from the

based to piezo element producing a voltage
for charging internal battery .the battery

the battery power transfer way is space.
That is 2cm to 25cm range.no need data
cable and conducting wire.a wireless
transmitter and receiver used to electronic
gadget charging It is hectic task to use to
use every where the shoe of mobile phone or
any electronic gadget while travelling or it is
very crucial when your mobile phone getting
off by the time you urgently need it. Its
major problem in today electronic gadget.

day life and further life. That all materials
fixed to the sole of the footwear is
illustrting I am introducing a new eco
8. •METHOD :
More power is generated at every forces applied to the shoe... My volt metre displayed:
*Pressing by hand=15.03volts(17ma) *walking by foot=18.53 volt(24 ma) *running by
foot=27.89volts(36ma) The piezo current generates AC circuit which is not used in circuits but its
used in internal battery. E=1/2 v^2c is the equation used to find o/p power. internal battery of then
shoe. When it is rectified,o/p is applied to battery for storing power. The below figure shown
demonstrates wireless power transmission. This method is used to create wireless charger.

10. CONCLUSTION :
From my results, the piezoelectric harvester is not practical
with today's technology. However, it may be due to lack of investment or public
interests. According to Advanced Cerametrics, they are capable of designing a
new piezoelectric plate that can generate ten times to one hundred times more energy
than the one I used. This would cut the time of charging an IPod from 655 hours to 6.5
hours.
