The word Ornithology is derived from the ancient Greek, āOrnisā
meaning birds and ālogosā meaning theory, which refers to the theory of
birds or the birdās theory. In Latin terminology, Ornithology refers
to Birds Science.

The scarlet macaw (Ara macao) is a large
yellow, red and blue Central and South
American parrot, a member of a large group
of Neotropical parrots called macaw.

Owls are birds from the order Strigiformes,
which includes over 200 species of mostly
solitary and nocturnal birds of prey typified by
an upright stance, a large, broad head,
binocular vision, binaural hearing, sharp
talons, and feathers adapted for silent flight.
