Vlad Diță’s Impressions on the Mobility in Romania 2017
1. Essay on What Impressed Me and My Guest in the Mobility from Romania
I was the host of a Cypriot pupil and he was, in his turn, my host. I felt
wonderful to have a boy of different nationality. It was a wonderful experience
and at first a little strange until we were able to accommodate each other. In
Cyprus it is much more different than in Romania, starting from people to the
country itself. People were very sociable and friendly, and in the same time in
the spirit of nature. Unlike Cyprus, where the climate is really very hot, being a
southern country, it has been more difficult for him to adapt to our climate. It
was a little cold but that didn’t disturb him very much.
The scenery of the mountains delighted him very much, especially when
they were covered by snow, a fact which is indeed rarely found in Cyprus. Our
hiking seemed great to him, seeing a city and a country much different to his
own. He was also delighted with our pastry products, the pancakes being among
his preferences. He also liked the areas around Sibiu City. The visit to Albota
together my family in one afternoon delighted him in spite of the cold that was
left. The trip to the stall together the whole team seemed very interesting to him,
mainly because he hasn’t ever been in a place like this one.
What I can say about myself is that I felt very good with him. We had fun,
and I hope we are able to see each other again. We continue to communicate and
to keep in touch on e-mail. For my parents, this mobility also represented an
exciting experience. The communication between my parents and his was very
good. In conclusion, it was a beautiful, exciting experience, and we hope to have
one as it is in the future.
