Rationale: the approach of the magazine is for fans to know what is going on in the rock
music industry-and hear the latest news from rock artists. Offering opinions and insights
from bands and artists.
Style: The style of my magazine will be informal as my magazine is aimed at people from the
age of 16. In my magazine I will be using humour to appeal to my target audience, and using
use of slang and short paragraphs The magazine is aimed specifically for rock/punk music
fans.
Regular Content:
 Review of a live concert
 Tour dates – for multiple popular bands
 New albums and new singles that have just been released-and where to buy
them.
 Best selling merchandise-
 ‘where the band begun’ – this will be telling the audience all about how
Catfish and the Bottlemen begun and when.
 ‘Behind the scenes’-there will be a double page of rehearsing in a studio with
Paramore, discovering how they make their music.
 Rising bands-new bands which will soon be making millions.
