PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
CNC PROGRAMMER - MACHINIST S & B Machine Works - Westbury, NY
- For 8 Plus years, I have worked side by side with operators, setup men, programmers, and managers on
the CNC side and the sheet metal side of this company.
- My current responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing the work flow for approximately 15
men. Deciding when, where (which machine), and how we will proceed on multiple jobs. I have prepared
pricing and quotes for customers and programmed extremely complex housings. A large part of my
everyday work is keeping the customers fulfilled with on time delivery and ensuring the high standard of
quality that they are used to. Tracking down, material, hardware, outside vendors for plating and painting is
all part of successfully completing almost every job.
- I was an integral part of our AS9100 Quality Certification & ISO 9001 Certification. I worked with
management and outside consultants to overhaul all existing systems and create many new ones. I
documented and structured them in such a way that would functionally work for a small business yet also
meet all requirements of said certifications. Employee training, being a liaison between the men on the
floor and the men in the office, and scripting appropriate language for our first company manual were a few
more of the responsibilities I performed.
