2. Introduction
• In the following slide I have looked at the
structure of similar genre music videos to the
one I will be creating. The reason being I will
be able to see how EDM music videos are
generally structured and which conventions
are featured in multiple videos which will
allow me to create a more conventional video
when the time comes.

• In conclusion the three EDM music videos
were all primarily narrative/artistic based with
artist based or performance scenes only
coming as either accompaniment to the
narrative or as a secondary piece.
• I will use this research in my piece as a guide
to how the music video we will be producing
fits with the conventions of the genre
