4. PLANNING
Strengths of my planning included the original concepts and
mind-mapping. Though in my end product I didn’t
necessarily stick so directly to the original plans, they
allowed me to set the basis for the shots I needed to collect
and acted as a guideline of how the piece would be put
together to create meaning.
Planning allowed me to resolve precisely what time and
resources I would need to put aside for the project, as well
as allowing me to dissect my song to better structure an
idea for what shots would be needed so I could work as
efficiently as possible.
A weakness of my planning could be considered to be my
visual mapping of specific shots. This is due to the fact that
I prefer to figure my shots out on location so that I can
adjust the location of the camera in relation to the
actress/actor based on all factors at the time and how the
position affects the need to adjust aperture, focus and white
balance etc. Still, to better improve this, I could’ve included
more detailed plannings for how my
5. TIME MANAGEMENT
I would say that I managed my time reasonably well,
considering all the different factors that being capable of
filming often rely on. In terms of shooting, I was able to
get most of it done during a single shoot, due to the
plan that I had set out prior.
