Pilih 2 paper dalam topik yang sama
a. Pahami Basis Pengetahuan
b. Tuliskan sumber pengetahuannya
c. Tuliskan basis
pengetahuannya
d. Validasi pakar
3. Sistem Pakar
• An expert system is a computer system that
emulates the decision-making ability of a human
expert
• Expression :
Programs = Algorithms + Data Structures
• Expert system = knowledge + inference
• A knowledge base capturing the domain-specific
knowledge
• An inference engine consisting of algorithms for
manipulating the knowledge represented in the
knowledge base
4. Basis Pengetahuan
pengetahuannya dalam bentuk IF – THEN
• Seorang pakar menyampaikan kepakarannya berupa pengetahuan melalui lisan
atau tulisan, baik untuk dokumen pribadi maupun disampaikan kepada
masyarakat/orang yang membutuhkan
• Pengetahuan didapatkan melalui proses akuisisi dan validasi pengetahuan
kemudian dilakukan representasi pengetahuan
• A knowledge-base is a database used for knowledge sharing and management
6. Data, Informasi, Pengetahuan, dan
Kebijaksanaan
• Data is viewed as collection of disconnected
facts.
• Information emerges when relationships among
facts are established and understood. Provides
answers to “who”, “what”, “where”, and “when”
• Knowledge emerges when relationships among
patterns are identified and understood. Provides
answers as “how”
• Wisdom is the pinnacle of understanding,
uncovers the principles of relationships that
describe patterns. Provides answers as “why”.
• Example: It is raining
• Example: The temperature dropped 15 degrees
and then it started raining
• Example: If the humidity is very high and the
temperature drops substantially, then the
atmosphere is unlikely to hold the moisture, so
it rains.
• Example: Encompasses understanding of all the
interactions that happen between raining,
evaporation, air currents, temperature
gradients, changes, and raining
7. Data, Informasi, Pengetahuan
• Knowledge is very distinct from data and
information in the information technology
context.
• Data are a collection of facts, measurements, and
statistics
• Information is organized or processed data that
are timely (i.e., inferences from the data are
drawn within the time frame of applicability) and
accurate (i.e., with regard to the original data)
• Knowledge is information that is contextual,
relevant, and actionable
Eframe Turban, Jey Aronson dan Ting-Peng Liang, 2005
9. Special Type of Knowledge
• Apriori, pengetahuan yang ada sebelum
pengalaman. Seseorang berfikir dan
berasumsi sebelum bertemu pengalaman
dan akhirnya mengambil keputusan. Contoh
: pernyataan logika, hukum matematika, dan
pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh remaja
• Aposteriori, pengetahuan yang diperoleh
setelah pengalaman. Seseorang berfikir
setelah mengalami atau melihat secara
langsung. Contoh : bila melihat orang
dengan mata coklat maka percaya orang
tersebut bermata coklat. Tetapi kemudian
orang tersebut merubah lensa mata dengan
biru, pengetahuan yang dimiliki akan
diperbaiki. Lucas & Graag, 2014
10. Knowledge Classification
• Procedural (implicit or performative) knowledge,
sering disebut sebagai mengetahui bagaimana
melakukan sesuatu. Misal mengetahui cara merebus
air.
• Descriptive (explicit or declarative) knowledge,
sering disebut mengetahui bahwa sesuatu itu benar
atau salah, berbentuk fakta dan aturan. Misal
pernyataan “jangan sentuh panci panas itu !”
• Tacit knowledge disebut juga unconscious
knowledge karena tidak dapat diekspresikan dengan
Bahasa. Misal : mengetahui cara menggerakan
tangan
Sistem pakar mengotomatiskan
kesimpulan berdasarkan descriptive
knowledge, sedangkan neural
network dapat melakukan hal yang
sama untuk procedural knowledge
11. Hierarchy of Knowledge
• Contoh : urutan angka
19416255201181.
Tanpa pengetahuan, urutan angka ini
hanya menjadi noise. Tetapi bila
memiliki makna maka menjadi data.
• Metaknowledge is knowledge about
knowledge and expertise.
Metaknowledge would specify which
base was applicable
• In a philosophical sense, wisdom is the
peak off all knowledge. Wisdom is the
metaknowledge of determining the
best goals of life an how to obtain
them.
12. Knowledge-Based Expert System
▪ KBESs are computer programs designed to act as an expert to solve a problem in a particular
domain.
▪ The program uses the knowledge of the domain coded in it and a specified control strategy to
arrive at solutions
▪ An expert system is not called a program, but a system, because it encompasses several
different components such as knowledge base, inference mechanisms, explanation facility
etc
▪ An expert system simulates such decision-making processes using the available facts and
knowledge
16. Struktur Sistem Pakar
• Sistem pakar terbagi dalam lingkungan
konsultasi dan lingkungan
pengembangan
• Pada lingkungan pengembangan,
sistem pakar dibangun dan melakukan
akuisisi pengetahuan dari seorang
pakar atau sumber pengetahuan.
• Akuisisi pengetahuan menghimpun
pengetahuan kepakaran bidang
tertentu dalam basis pengetahuan
• Membangun sistem pakar adalah tugas
yang membutuhkan keterampilan
tinggi, orang yang melakukan tugas ini
disebut knowledge engineer.
17. The knowledge-engineering process
• Knowledge acquisition. The knowledge may be specific to
the problem domain or to the problem-solving procedures
• Knowledge representation. This activity involves
preparation of a knowledge map and encoding of the
knowledge in the knowledge base
• Knowledge validation. Knowledge validation (or
verification) involves validating and verifying the
knowledge (e.g., by using test cases) until its quality is
acceptable.
• Inferencing. This activity involves the design of software to
enable the computer to make inferences based on the
stored knowledge and the specifics of a problem.
• Explanation and justification. This step involves the design
and programming of an explanation capability (e.g.,
programming the ability to answer questions such as why a
specific piece of information is needed by the computer or
how a certain conclusion was derived by the computer).
Eframe Turban, Jey Aronson dan Ting-Peng Liang, 2005
18. Akuisisi Pengetahuan
• Akuisisi pengetahuan merupakan proses yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan
pengetahun melalui pakar atau sumber pengetahuan
• The process of collecting and structuring knowledge in a problem domain
(Peter J.F. Lucas & Linda C. van der Gaag, 2014)
• Sumber pengetahun : pakar manusia, buku teks, dokumen multimedia,
database, paper hasil penelitian dan informasi pada internet.
20. Expertise Characteristics
Experts who have the types of knowledge are able to make better and faster decisions than
non-experts in solving complex problems. Expertise often has the following characteristics:
• Expertise is usually associated with a high degree of intelligence, but not necessarily with
the smartest person.
• Expertise is usually associated with a vast quantity of knowledge.
• Experts learn from past successes and mistakes.
• Expert knowledge is well-stored, organized, and quickly retrievable from an expert.
• Experts can call up patterns from their experience (excellent recall).
21. Knowledge Verification and Validation
• Evaluation is a broad concept. Its
objective is to assess an expert system's
overall value. In addition to assessing
acceptable performance levels, it
analyzes whether the system would be
usable, efficient, and costeffective.
• Validation is the part of evaluation that
deals with the performance of the
system (e.g., as it compares to the
expert's). Simply stated, validation is
building the right system, that is,
substantiating that a system performs
with an acceptable level of accuracy.
• Verification is building the system right
or substantiating that the system is
correctly implemented to its
specifications.
22. Knowledge Verification and Validation
• In the real of expert systems, these
activities are dynamic because they
must be repeated each time the
prototype is changed.
• In terms of the knowledge base, it is
necessary to ensure that we have the
right knowledge base (i.e., that the
knowledge is valid).
• It is also essential to ensure that the
knowledge base was constructed
properly (verification).
23. Studi Kasus
• Hasil diagnosa sistem pakar
dibandingkan dengan diagnosa pakar
untuk menghasilkan keputusan yang
dikeluarkan sistem benar
• Kesimpulan : Implementasi Fuzzy Logic
pada aplikasi adalah untuk membantu
menghasilkan jawaban dengan nilai
pasti dari nilai tidak pasti yang diberikan
oleh pasien. Implementasi Naïve Bayes
pada aplikasi adalah untuk menghitung
probabilitas penyakit yang diderita oleh
pasien berdasarkan kecocokan gejala
yang di-input oleh pasien dengan gejala
yang ada dalam sistem. Sistem pakar
diagnosa penyakit Mata telah diuji oleh
seorang pakar dan dapat memberikan
tingkat kesamaan diagnose pakar
dengan sistem sebesar 81%.
