Company Overview
Our approach is essentially a human- centred innovation process that
emphasizes observation, fast learning, visualization of ideas, rapid
prototyping. We link design, innovation, and technology with a Human-
centred process to provide a competitive advantage. Our clients hire us
to think strategically about what it would take to achieve their goals.
Francis& Son was established in 2011 as a family owned business.
Since 2012 we focus on the innovation processes in art,
culture and education.

We designed Hungarian Art and Cultural Portal, which is an
interactive, creative forum where Hungarian Artists can be
introduced and make themselves heard and seen. Achieved
the Hungarian Government recognition and support.
Handbook of Life creative project – graphic novel – by
Francis& Son and Amorfart. The graphic novel was presented
at the Clerkenwell Design Week in 2014.

Planning
Francis& Son has been built with hard work over the years.
Our plan is to create a human- centred, client- driven
company that we all can be proud of. To achieve our goals we
must demonstrate that, the whole is greater than the sum of
the parts. We need to make the human- centred process part
of our DNA. This means to equip ourselves with innovative
methods, skills and through our partnerships learn from
market leading companies, institutions like: DMI, Luma
Institute, Lego or University of St Gallen.
Short - term objectives are to increase brand awareness
and to promote design thinking and creative problem solving
methods, share our knowledge with the wider audience.
Through professional courses, workshops we would like to
learn new methods, skills, technologies that brings people joy,
rather than frustration.
Medium - term objectives are to win projects, create
partnerships with schools, museums, art associations. At
Francis& Son we believe in sharing our knowledge with others
who are interested in design thinking, creative problem
solving methods and for that reason we organize public
workshops and we publish case studies, white papers, books.
Our overall objective is to design a management system that
empowers people, our friends, colleagues basis for decision
making that is consistent with who we are at Francis& Son.
